To America

Dear America,

I feel your pain and grieve your loss. Your sense of security is broken as the wounds from the cowardly act continues to sting. Families mourn, friends scorn, and patriotism reborn are the themes of this dark hour. Old Glory has been made anew with flags waved with pride and songs sung with passion.

September 11, 2001 was the day your eyes opened America. You were blind to yourself and abused what makes you great. You focused on the world around you like you were invincible, but was proven wrong. At a certain point in my life, I was very ashamed to be an American. I knew that you were great and full of possibilities, yet you were self-absorbed in the "Hollywood" fantasies, the "Bull" run, and memyselfandI-ism. Now I'm very proud of you, America. your pain made me cry and your unity inspired me. You needed a reality check and you should be thanking the terrorists as much as cursing them, for they brought out the very best in you.

I want you to remember this:

You are the great and noble America, the land of freedom and promise...the light that the world needs to shine constantly. Never forget that and know that I will always love you deeply.

People of America, never forget the compassion you rediscovered. It's the greatest fuel of genuine love and true strength. Learn that pain and suffering connects us all into a bond of happiness, for it's happiness that we all seek. And search for our greater self through reshaping our faith in God and life itself. Let this be the beginning and not the end...for the sake of all the lives lost or missing in this tragedy.

"In the end, WE will win" - Revised personal quote

Honor and Harmony,

The Noble Knight

PS: It's not "God Bless America" but "God Blessed America"
