Introduction to the Noble Knight
Let me introduce myself...I'm La Var J. Foxworth and I reside in New York City, the borough of Brooklyn to be exact. I have lived here most of my life and it will always, in place or in heart, be my home. Born on 9/20/77, I'm currently 24 years old. Despite my age, I'm a very mature person with an old soul. My hobbies are gaming video games, reading/writing, going online to talk/role play with friends, collecting comics & anime/manga, hanging out with my best friends and listening to music...mostly smooth jazz, but my range in taste is very wide.
Currently I'm working as a temp to keep my financial world running, though I would really love a full time job. And dispite taking a college course to become an EMT, I still desire to attend college to become a civil engineer.
Though becoming an civil engineer is on the top of my list, I do want to be other things in my life. I want to be cook, a novelist, and a teacher. My mother and sisters inspired me to cook. Being a novelist stems from my writing talents that were discovered in high school. I am a poet, as I wrote a few poems, but my greatest desire to write comes in the vision of a multi-book novel series. Having grown and formed in my head for years, I want to bring my vision to life. As for being teacher, this is something I want to do in my later years, when I have learned and matured more. Some of the people that inspired and influenced my talents and character have been teachers. So I would like to do the same for those young souls that need guidance and those old souls that want to learn new tricks.
There's a reason I call myself the Noble Knight. During my sophomore year in high school I read one of the Arthurian Legends books, "The Once and Future King," and I fell in love with the ideals within it. It's was like I learned about a part of me that was hidden in my soul. This has impacted my life and understand the essense of my destiny on Earth. Until I no longer exist, I'm a knight of the modern day.
In addition to this, I have understand a special part of my uniqueness. I was born into this world with a surname that was given to me. Foxworth, my surname, was the name my mother had from her first marriage. My mother and father meet and fall in love. This didn't last due to personal strife between my mother and father at that time and parted ways before I was born into this world. It was the will of God that brought my father into my life some years ago and ever since, my world grew. Anyway, my mother's maiden family is the Sanders and my father's family is the Browns. They are my root families, but I'm the beginning of another family line. Though this makes me special, all of this wouldn't be if I didn't know Christ in my life. I learnt from him that I'm special. Having God in my heart is what makes me special.
That's a simple summary of my character and life, but my life is still progressing. And there are parts of my past that I haven't metioned here. In time, I will share more of my life, part and present, so you can understand the...Noble Knight.
